Provillus vs Procerin – Find Out Why Provillus Wins!

By admin · Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

There is a Provillus vs Procerin debate going on as to which is the best product in treatment for hair loss.  Both Provillus and Procerin are designed to offset the effects of dihydrotestosterone buildup  in the scalp and hair. This is commonly known as DHT and is believed to be the active chemical agent that causes hair loss.

Unfortunately many drugs that are used to control DHT do so by reacting with testosterone causing dryness and in many cases causing a decrease in testosterone levels in the body in general and has been linked to a loss of libido. For many men this is just too high a price to pay. There have been some occasions when this interference is very severe.

It has been estimated that 95% of alopecia (baldness) cases in men is due to higher levels of DHT compared to men who don’t suffer from hair loss.

Let us examine then how Provillus and Procerin work so as we can formulate which of these hairloss treatments is the best one to treat  hair loss effectively.

Procerin

As I mentioned before the most important thing to do is block dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in your scalp. The reason is that the DHT attaches to the hair follicles deep within the skin inhibiting the growth of the hair with the result that the hair either drops out or stops growing. This is often evidenced by very fine hair that still grows from the scalp itself. The Procerin works by blocking DHT from doing this and reverses the hair thinning with the result that the hair re grows and often quite quickly.  The Procerin acts to block the  DHT without reacting with testosterone thus not affecting testosterone levels elsewhere in the body. This is why it is so suitable for men.

Provillus

Provillus works in a very similar way to Procerin. It also blocks DHT without messing with your testosterone so you won’t have to worry about any negative side effects. However the main difference between Provillus and Procerin is what provillus contains. There is a compound called Minoxidil contained in Provillus. This is extremely important. The reason is that  Minoxidil is the only FDA approved drug for hair re-growth. Now don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t mean that Procerin is either ineffective  it’s just that Provillus provides that extra bit that could make the difference.

There is potentially a  downside to this though as Minoxidil is not a herbal remedy so Provillus is not as ‘natural’ as Procerin but it seems like the makers of Provillus are intent on making sure that customers get the best chance of stopping and or reversing the hair loss altogether. In fact there shouldn’t be much of a debate as when it comes to Provillus vs Procerin and you want effectiveness my money would have to go on Provillus because of the Minoxidil.

If you are wondering where can I buy Provillus and if there are any special deals for buying online then…
